Just for a change....

....A few pictures of the garden!!

The putting green...

This was the first area we planted....the palm trees...where are they now?

Not exactly 'Hadrian's Wall'....but I built it.

I've never snapped it from this side....
It is really impressive in true life!!

Ajax make a new signing....

Football is the name of the game....

Michael makes himself comfortable for the photo-shoot...

"I said no more pictures, OK!"

Michael dances his way down the right flank...

But a horrendous tackle on Dad sees Michael receive his first red card, and leaves the field of play, suitably humbled.

Oh, well....there's always a 'non-contact' sport...!!

"I wish Dad would speed up these greens....it's playing havoc with my putting stroke...."

At Ajax, they encourage youngsters to have several hobbies...

Is it that time of the year again?

A rather dull day doesn't show the rose tree off at its best....every year, as soon as it flowers, it gets battered by a rainstorm...

Meanwhile, in another part of the garden, a catchweight contest is in progress...

I've posted a similar shot to this before, but I prefer the light in this version...

Mum just back from the shops, with her son...

Michael enjoys pitching in....

And when you are the proud owner of a number of wheelbarrows, it's imperative you put them to work!!

Show me Round the Garden!

Michael likes to visit the estate most mornings...

The Secret Path to Michael's private playground...

He calls this...the 'Yellow Tree'...

I finally got round to tidying up the roof of the Balinese House...

Bed and Breakfast...

In the Collinson household.....on any given Sunday....or most days of the week, in fact!

Richard (The Baby formerly known as Danny....until we remembered who else was called by that name...)....is definitely taking 'a back seat' to his more charismatic brother....even though Michael has spurned the foreground....such is the self-confidence of this supremely beautiful young man!!

Yesterday he assisted on the job, passing the hammer on demand, and drove home his first screw (a 60mm x 5mm bolt) using daddy's 'zum-zum'....don't worry, that's OUR word for it, Michael calls it variously; 'el taladro', the drill, la perceuse....what do we know!!

Michael has two slides in his personal playground, by his 'casita'....I'm hoping to come across a 1920's fairground ride...like the one Paul Newman is restoring in the movie 'The Sting'...!!

It's like the 'Wreck of the Hesperus'!!

"I t'ought I saw a Puddy Tat.....

a-creeping up on me!"

"I did! I sa a Puddy Tat...as plain as plain....

can be....!!"

Richard receives the Blessing of the Morning....

Whilst being outshone by the very 'Morning Star' itself!!
OK Josie....How's that?
